India’s first university for transgenders to open in Kushinagar District of Uttar Pradesh.
The university will facilitate seamless education of the community from Class-I to postgraduation.
They can also pursue doctoral degrees from the varsity.
The foundation stone for the university was laid on December 23, 2019 in the Naktaha Mishra village .
The university is being set up by Akhil Bharatiya Kinnar Shiksha Seva Trust.
