On the occasion of Unani Day 2021, the Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM) under Ministry of AYUSH organized a hybrid virtual National Conference on Unani Medicine
- The conference was themed on ‘Unani Medicine: Opportunities and Challenges in times of COVID-19′.
- World Unani Day is a global event taking place every year on 11th February,, which is the birthday of great Unani scholar and social reformer Hakim Ajmal Khan.
- First Unani Day was celebrated at Central Research Institute of Unani Medicine (CRIUM), Hyderabad in 2017.
