With this spectacular growth, media and entertainment industry in India will become a Rs. 4,51,373 crore industry by 2023.
About World Standards Day
Each year on 14 October, the members of the IEC, ISO and ITU celebrate World Standards Day, which is a means of paying tribute to the collaborative efforts of thousands of experts worldwide who develop the voluntary technical agreements that are published as International Standards.
Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in India, as the National Standards Body, is celebrating the event this year at its Head Quarters, Regional offices, Branch offices, Laboratories and National Institute of Training for Standardization(NITS), through inhouse programmes and technical seminars.
