Wimbledon 2024 Winners

  • Carlos Alcaraz of Spain won the Wimbledon Men’s Singles title 2024 defeating Novak Djokovic of Serbia, 6-2, 6-2, 7-6.
  • This was Alcaraz’s second appearance in a Wimbledon final while Djokovic is a seven-time champion of the championship. 21 years old Alcaraz won Wimbledon for a second year in a row.
  • Alcaraz is now four-time grand slam title winner and he joins Roger Federer as the only men to win their first four grand slam finals.
  • With this victory, Alcaraz becomes just the sixth player have won the men’s titles at Roland ­Garros (French Open) and Wimbledon in the same year, known colloquially as the “Channel Slam”.
  • Barbora Krejcikova of the Czech Republic defeated Jasmine Paolini of Italy 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 to win her maiden Wimbledon women’s singles title 2024 in London.
  • Great Britain’s Henry Patten and Finland’s Harri Heliovaara won the men’s doubles final at Wimbledon. They defeated Max Purcell and Jordan Thompson in the final.
  • American Taylor Townsend captured her first Grand Slam title as she and Czech partner Katerina Siniakova beat Canadian Gabriela Dabrowski and New Zealand’s Erin Routliffe in the Wimbledon women’s doubles final.
  • In the Mixed Doubles final, the seventh-seed Polish-Taiwan pair of Jan Zieliński and Hsieh Su-Wei claimed their second Grand Slam title of the season.
  • They defeated the Mexican duo Giuliana Olmos and Santiago Gonzalez in straight sets, winning 6-4, 6-2.
