Uttarakhand has been selected as the best state tableau among 17 States and Union Territories which participated in the Republic Day parade 2023 at Kartavya Path in New Delhi.
- The Tableau of Uttrakhand had showcased the world famous tourist destination Corbete National Pak and famous Cholia dance.
- The second place went to the tableau of Maharashtra and third position to Uttar Pradesh.
- Punjab Regiment Centre Contingent has been named the best marching contingent among the three services.
- Central Reserve Police Force has been named the best marching contingent among Central Armed Police Force and other auxiliary forces. The tableaux of Ministry of Tribal Affairs was declared winner in the category of Central Ministries and Departments.
