Men’s Singles: Austria’s Dominc Thiem defeated Alexander Zverev 2-6, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 7-6(6) in the final to win the US Open Men’s Singles title. He is first new Grand Slam champion in 6 years. Thiem became the 1st man in 71 years to win a US Open final after being 2 sets down.
Women’s Singles: Naomi Osaka won her 3rd Grand Slam title defeating Victoria Azarenka in the final. She registered 1-6, 6-3, 6-3 victory over former world No. 1 Victoria Azarenka to win the women’s singles title at the 2020 US Open.
Women’s Doubles: Winners-Laura Siegemund and Vera Zvonareva. The duo won the U.S. Open women’s doubles title beating the third-seeded team of Xu Yifan and Nicole Melichar 6-4, 6-4.
Men’s Doubles: Winners-Mate Pavić and Bruno Soares. Unseeded duo Mate Pavic of Croatia and Bruno Soares of Brazil defeated No. 8 seeds Wesley Koolhof of the Netherlands and Nikola Mektic of Croatia, 7-5, 6-3, to capture the 2020 US Open men’s doubles title.
