Yogi Adityanath- the Uttar Pradesh chief minister on January 24, 2021 announced ‘Abhyudaya’ programme to provide statewide free coaching facility to help students prepare for various competitive examinations.
- The programme was announced on the 71st Uttar Pradesh Sthapna (foundation) Divas.
- The free coaching facility will start from upcoming Basant Panchmi.
- In the first phase, the coaching will be started in 18 divisional headquarters of the state.
- The coaching will be imparted physically and virtually. Coaching will be provided for various examinations be it the NEET, IITJEE, NDA, CDS or UPSC examinations.
- UP Gaurav Samman: The Chief Minister also announced to start ‘UP Gaurav Samman’ wherein three to five citizens who bring laurels to the state will be awarded every year.
