The Tamil Nadu school education department has introduced a new scheme for primary school students to bridge the learning gap that was caused by the Covid-19 lock down in the last two years.
- The scheme called “Ennum Ezhuthum (numerals and letters) was launched by Chief Minister MK Stalin in a school near Puzhal village in Tiruvallur District near Chennai.
- The scheme is aimed at making the first to third standard students to read and write flawlessly and to improve their numerical ability.
- The scheme would be implemented for three years in Government and aided schools.
- The curriculum has been devised in such a way that the children would find learning a joyful experience.
