Uttar Pradesh Government has announced to provide financial assistance to labourers for historical and religious tour in a unique step towards welfare of the labourers in state under Swami Vivekananda Historical Tourism Scheme .
- Government will also provide money to buy books for the study of their daughters.
- UP Government will give financial assistance of 12 thousand rupees to the labourers of state for the tour of historical and religious sites under the scheme Scheme.
Mahadevi Verma Book Purchase Financial Assistance Scheme
- The State Government has also decided to provide 7,500 rupees assistance for purchase of books under Mahadevi Verma Book Purchase Financial Assistance Scheme.
- This will be given to the labourers working in factories whose daughters are pursuing higher education.
- The Government will also provide money to encourage those children of the labourers who are performing well in sports.
- Government will give 10 thousand rupees, if they got selected at district level, 25 rupees for selection at state level, 50 thousand rupees for National level and one lakh rupees will be provide for selection at international level in sports.
