Swachhta Saarthi Fellowship

The Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India under its “Waste to Wealth” Mission launched the “Swachhta Saarthi Fellowship”.

  • The fellowship aims to recognize students, community workers/self-help groups, and municipal/sanitary workers who are engaged in tackling the enormous challenge of waste management, scientifically and sustainably.
  • The Waste to Wealth Mission is one of the nine national missions of the Prime Minister’s Science, Technology, and Innovation Advisory Council (PM-STIAC).
  • Each PM-STIAC mission is being led by a lead Ministry and will engage international and national institutional partners, young scientists and industry.

The nine missions of PM-SITAC are;

  1. Natural Language Translation
  2. Quantum Frontier
  3. Artificial Intelligence
  4. National Biodiversity
  5. Electric Vehicles
  6. BioScience for Human Health
  7. Waste to Wealth
  8. Deep Ocean Exploration
  9. AGNIi
