Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah on 11 February addressed the Suttur Jathra Mahotsav in Mysuru, Karnataka.
- In his address, Shri Amit Shah said that Suttur Mutt has been the centre of the three Sutras of selfless service, work is worship and charity.
- He said that all the 24 saints who presided over the Suttur Mahasamsthana Mutt over the centuries have continued the tradition of service and yagya uninterruptedly
- The annual Suttur Jathra Mahothsava of Adijagadguru Shivarathreeshwara Shivayogi Swami was held from February 6 to 11 at Suttur (Karnataka).
- The six-day event was organised in commemoration of Adijagadguru, who established the Mutt at Suttur on the banks of river Kapila.
