Seven Women Achievers who shared life journey through PM’s Twitter Account

On the occasion of Women’s Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 8, 2020 handed over his twitter account to seven women achievers.

List of Seven Achievers who shared their inspiring journey

Sneha Mohandoss: Sneha Mohandoss launched initiative called Foodbank India after being inspired by her mother. She wished to inspire fellow citizens, especially women to come forward and join hands with her.

Dr Malvika Iyer : Disability activist and motivational speaker Dr Malvika Iyer survived a gruesome bomb blast at the age of 13 in Bikaner that blew off her hands and severely damaging legs. Yet, she worked and went on to get her PhD.

Kalpana Ramesh: A Hyderabad-based architect and water conservationist Kalpana Ramesh said that small efforts can make a big impact. She urged people to be a water warrior.

Arifa: Namda craft artisan Arifa from Kashmir tweeted about her life journey. She always dreamt of reviving the traditional crafts of Kashmir because it is a means to empower local women.

Vijaya Pawar : She is an artisan from the Banjara community of rural Maharashtra.

Kalavati: She hails from Kanpur, and is on a mission to build toilets across the lower income households in the city.

Veena Devi: She hails from Munger, Bihar, and has been growing mushrooms at home for several years now, through some unique farming-at-home techniques.
