The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has become the first Central bank in the world to reach 1 million Twitter follower milestone.
- The RBI has beaten the U.S. Federal Reserve and European Central Bank on Twitter by emerging as the most popular central bank on the microblogging site.
- The number of followers of RBI’s twitter handle ‘@RBI’, increased from 9.66 lakh to 10 lakh on September 27, 2020.
