Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the ‘Kartavya Path‘ on 8th September, 2022 at 7 PM.
- The central avenue from Rashtrapati Bhavan to India Gate along with the Central Vista lawns has been renamed as Kartavya Path instead of Rajpath.
- The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) unanimously approved the name change in a special meeting convened on September 7.
- Prime Minister will also unveil the statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at India Gate on the occasion.
