On December 19, 2021, to commemorate the completion of three years of the tenure of the state government, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot launched ‘I Am Shakti Udan Yojana’.
- Under the ‘I Am Shakti Udan Yojana’ scheme, free sanitary napkins will be provided to every girl child and woman in the state.
- Adolescent girls from every school and Anganwadi center will be able to take advantage of this scheme for their self-hygiene.
- The Women and Child Development Department has been entrusted with the responsibility of running this scheme.
