Bio Parks
Agriculture Scientist Dr M S Swaminathanhas said, establishing bio-parks would be one of the excellent ways of tacklingthe problem of stubble-burning to contain air pollution in several regions inthe country including in Delhi.
On the sidelines of a programme at the M S Swaminathan Research Foundation in Chennai on November 5, 2019, he told reporters, blaming farmers for stubble burning would not offer any solution as the nation needs food grains. He, however, said converting the stubble into a farm input using the bio-park model would be of significant help.
