The Oscar award ceremony 2020, also called 92nd Academy awards, was held on February 10, 2020 (Indian Standard Time). Bong Joon-ho’s comedy-drama “Parasite”, which is about an impoverished family who infiltrate the household of a wealthier one, made Oscars history as as it became first foreign language winner of best picture. It also took best director, best original screenplay and best international film. Parasite Joaquin Phoenix won best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance as Arthur Fleck in JOKER!
