The grave of Naushera ka Sher Brigadier Mohammad Usman is located on the Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) campus.
- It was damaged recently and the Army is looking into the issue and the grave will be restored soon.
- According the the newspaper report, the responsibility for graves of martyrs is not that of the Army and is usually taken care of by the families.
- Brigadier Mohammad Usman was the senior-most officer killed in the first India-Pakistan war of 1947-48.
