The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu graced and addressed the 15th National Voters’ Day Celebrations in New Delhi on January 25, 2025.
Since 2011, National Voters’ Day has been observed annually on January 25 to commemorate the foundation day of the Election Commission of India in 1950.
This event aims to underline the centrality of the voter, raise electoral awareness among citizens and inspire their active participation in the democratic process.
This year, the Election Commission of India (ECI) celebrates its 75th year of service. National Voters’ Day 2025 theme is ‘Nothing like voting, I vote for sure’.
The theme continues from last year. It highlights the importance of voting as a crucial tool for shaping the country’s leadership.
