President Ram Nath Kovind on September 6, 2019 presented awards in various categories for outstanding contribution to Swachh Bharat Mission at a special function in New Delhi .
List of Award Winners
- Best Swachh Iconic Place award: Vaishno Devi Shrine Board in Jammu and Kashmir received the Best Swachh Iconic Place award. The Shrine was selected on the basis of the overall improvement in sanitation. Ministry of Railways was given Swachh Award in Swachhta Action Plan category.

- ODF Plus communications for behavior change: Sikkim and Gujarat
- Contribution to the Swachh Bharat Kosh: Power Grid Corporation
- Swachh Bharat Summer Internship: The first prize was given to Ranjitha S for NCC, Bharatiya Shaheed Sainik School, Nainital for NSS, and Vision Youth Association, Anantapuramu for NYKS.
