- Rajasthan Government has launched ‘Bal Sabha’ (Children’s Assembly) initiative for identifying and resolving issues in upper primary schools situated in the rural areas.
- The Bal Sabhas will be attended by children and their parents, teachers and village elders.
- As per the state government, this concept would ensure the participation of all stakeholders and significantly improve the quality of education in government schools.
- It will also promote dialogue between villagers and schoolchildren and will help in shaping the personality of students.
- The state government aims to to bring about qualitative changes in education through this initiative.
