- The Supreme Court on March 8, 2019 referred Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute case to mediation for amicable settlement.
- The apex court has set up a panel of mediators which will be headed by apex court’ former judge Justice (retired) F M Kallifulla. Other members of the panel of mediators include Shri Shri Ravi Shankar and senior advocate Sriram Panchu.
- As per the order the mediation proceedings will be held in Faizabad.
- The Supreme Court has directed in camera proceedings of mediation in Ayodhya case.
