- Jammu and Kashmir government has launched ‘Back to Village’ Programme to connect with the rural people from 20th to 27th June 2019, .
- Under this initiative involves field visits, public interactions, registering of grievances, an inspection of public utilities, holding of awareness camps and other allied activities which were conducted in Trespone and Silmo on June 24, 2019.
- According to the state government, the program has received great response from the public, particularly the womenfolk of the villages, who are taking a keen interest in this ambitious programme and raised various issues with regard to the development of the villages with the officers seeking their intervention for an early redressal.
