Indian Army organizes “Veer Kutumb Rally” in Jammu and Kashmir

Crossed Swords Division of Indian army organized a “VEER KUTUMB RALLY” at Tanda, Akhnoor in Jammu and Kashmir.

The objective behind the rally was to reach out to veterans, veer naris, widows and their families.

The Rally was organised by the Indian Army as part of its activities to observe 2019 as the ‘Year of the Next of Kin’. General Officer Commanding (GoC) Crossed Swords Division, Maj Gen R. Dewan, was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

A free medical and dental camp was also organized. On the occasion, scooties, wheel chairs and some other household items were distributed to disabled soldiers and kins of the martyrs.
