Five States get new Governors

  • President on September 1, 2019 appointed 5 new governors in different states. These appointments are:
    • Shri Kalraj Mishra, Governor of Himachal Pradesh is transferred and appointed as Governor of Rajasthan
    • Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari as Governor of Maharashtra
    • Shri Bandaru Dattatraya as Governor of Himachal Pradesh
    • Shri Arif Mohammed Khan as Governor of Kerala
    • Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan as Governor of Telangana
