About CMGGAs) programme
- The Chief Ministers Good Governance Associates programme (CMGGA) is a partnership between the Haryana Government and Ashoka University.
- The programme was launched in 2016 and aims at ensuring transparency, accountability and efficiency in service delivery by leveraging young talents from across the country in the form of CMGGAs.
- The programme aims to provide young leaders an opportunity to bridge the gaps between government, industry and the citizenry even as they get an aspirational opportunity to learn about and contribute to governance and public administration.
- Apart from implementing the State government’s flagship programmes, the associates also pick up an issue of their own choice, pertinent in the district, and provide innovative solutions to address it. If their pilot project is successful, these district initiatives get scaled up as a State-wide module.
