Delhi government on July 21, 2020 approved a scheme for door step delivery of ration in the state.

Under the Mukhyamantri Ghar Ghar Ration Yojna, poor and needy in the national capital will be delivered packets of wheat flour at their doorstep.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in a virtual press conference described this move as revolutionary and said that this scheme will be optional.
Those who want to buy ration from Fixed Price Shops can opt out of this scheme.
The scheme is expected to be operational in the next 6 to 7 months.
