Union Information & Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur on September 25, 2021 inaugurated high power transmitters at one of the highest Radio Stations in the world at Humbatingla in Kargil Ladakh.
- The Minister inaugurated Two – 10kW High Power Transmitters of All India Radio FM radio station and Doordarshan at an altitude of 13 thousand 300 feet from mean sea level at Humbatingla in Batalik of Kargil.
- Transmitters would improve the transmission and the reach in the region especially in the region.
