French Open 2020 Winners

The French Open 2020 was held between 21 Sep 2020 – 11 Oct 2020 at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France on clay courts.

Winners

  • Women’s Singles: Teenager Iga Swiatek became the first Polish player to win a Grand Slam singles title when she beat fourth seed Sofia Kenin 6-4, 6-1 in the French Open final on October 10, 2020.
  • Men’s Singles: Rafael Nadal (Spain) defeted Djokovic 6-0 6-2 7-5 in the French Open final on October 11, 2020 to win the Men’s Single title. It is his 13th French Open and 20th Grand Slam title.
  • Women’s Doubles: Timea Babos and Kristina Mladenovic defended their French Open title in women’s doubles. The Hungarian-French pairing, seeded second, beat the 14th-seeded team of Alexa Guarachi, from Chile, and American Desirae Krawczyk 6-4, 7-5.
  • Men’s Doubles: German duo Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies retained their French Open doubles crown as they beat Croatian Mate Pavic and Brazilian Bruno Soares 6-3, 7-5 on October 10, 2020.
