- Telecommunications Consultants India, TCIL, with support of South Delhi Municipal Corporation launched the first e-vehicle charging station at South Extension Part-I in New Delhi on January 20, 2022.
- This e-vehicle charging station is the first one in a series of 65 e-charging stations to be set up by TCIL in progressive manner in the next four months in the South Delhi area.
- Six light vehicles can be charged at each charging station at a time.
