Exercise Sea Dragon 2025

The Indian Navy successfully concluded a two-week anti-submarine warfare (ASW) training as part of Sea Dragon 2025 (SD25) on March 20.

About Sea Dragon 2025 (SD25)

  • Host: U.S. Navy’s 7th Fleet at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam
  • Objective: Strengthen ASW tactics, interoperability, and multinational coordination
  • Focus Areas: Detecting, tracking, and countering submarine threats in the Indo-Pacific
  • Participants: Originally U.S. & Australia (2019) → Expanded to include India (joined in 2021) and other key allies
