The Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has introduced the Digital Crop Survey (DCS) System, which aims to gather real-time crop-sown details directly from the field through a mobile interface.

- Helps in accurate production estimation and data-driven decision-making in agriculture.
Agri Stack – A Secure Digital Framework
- Developed under Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 & other IT laws.
- Ensures data privacy – Farmers’ data collected only with consent.
- State-controlled dataset with secure API-based sharing.
Farmers’ Registry – Inclusive & Secure
- Covers all landholder farmers, including women.
- States can onboard tenant & lessee farmers as per policy.
