Delhi becomes 28th legislature to join NeVA Platform

The Delhi Legislative Assembly has signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Union Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs (MoPA) and the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) for the implementation of the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA). This move makes Delhi the 28th legislature to adopt this digital platform.

About NeVA

  • Enhanced Efficiency and Accessibility: NeVA digitizes legislative business, allowing real-time access to documents and seamless coordination between legislators and secretariat staff. This leads to more efficient legislative procedures and streamlined workflows.
  • Sustainability: By reducing paper consumption, the platform promotes sustainability and eco-friendly practices in the legislative process.
  • Robust Digital Infrastructure: The application is hosted on Meghraj 2.0, India’s cloud infrastructure, which ensures strong scalability, security, and data integrity. Its device-agnostic design means legislators can access it via smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktops, enabling legislative work from anywhere, anytime.
