In Manipur, the State Government has decided to increase the free hospitalization benefit under the Chief Minister-gi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) schemes upto 5 lakh rupees per family per year.
- The Chief Minister-gi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) scheme is a health assurance scheme initiated by the Government of India.
- The Scheme provides cashless treatment to the poor who are beneficiaries of the scheme at the empanelled hospital.
- Earlier, the scheme cover upto two lakh rupees per eligible family per year which has been increased to five lakh rupees.
