The first batch of tourists for Chadar Trek-2020 was flagged off in Ladakh, by the Leh Hill Council Chairman and Chief Executive Councilor Gyal P. Wangyal on January 5, 2020.

About Chadar Trek

The Chadar track is basically a frozen Zanskar Rive which was primarily used by the natives to get their basic supplies and also to sell local wares like copper utensils, goatskin, Yak butter etc. to earn their living during bone-chilling winters. But now the 105-km-long trek attracts adventure-seekers.
