The Bihar government’s ‘various departments have collectively won the Digital India Awards 2020 under ‘pandemic category’.
- President of India Ram Nath Kovind will give away the Digital India Awards-2020 on December 30 to Chanchal Kumar, Pratyay Amrit, M Ramchandrudu, Shailesh Kumar Srivastav and Niraj Kumar Tiwari.
- The ‘Bihar Parvasi Sahayata Mobile App’ successfully transferred financial assistance directly to the accounts of beneficiaries during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- More than 21 lakh stranded workers outside Bihar were provided financial assistance through this mobile app.
- The Digital India Awards have been instituted under the aegis of the National Portal of India.
