The Delhi government on April 14, 2021 launched a week-long exhibition marking the 130th birth anniversary of Bhim Rao Ambedkar.
- The first edition of Babasaheb Ambedkar Digital Kala Festival, conceptualised by the Department of Art, Culture and Languages, seeks to promote the teachings of Ambedkar.
- The festival is being held with Ambedkar’s quote, “We are all equal under the blue sky”, as the theme.
- Through this exercise, the government seeks to encourage out-of-the-box and unique interpretations of this quote by Ambedkar, along with inculcating a sense of patriotism in the participants.
- The winners of the competition will be announced on May 1 and the winner will be awarded Rs. 75,000, the first runner-up will be awarded Rs. 50,000 and the second runner-up Rs. 25,000.
