An associate professor in risk management and founder of Avoidable Deaths Network (ADN), along with other ADN experts have set up a hub in in Burujhari village in Odisha to look into lifesaving solutions, according to a press note from the university.

- India has also ratified the United Nations’ Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction for halving the number of deaths by 2030.
