Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on September 27, 2021 virtually launched ‘Dharma Patham’, an initiative by the Endowments Department to revive ancient temple-centric culture.
- The idea was to give a push to traditional art, culture and health programmes that used to be conducted by temples.
- The Endowments Department also planned to conduct training camps in yoga and health.
- Mr Reddy also asked the officials to take a cue from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and adopt best practices in the management of temples.
