Union Minister of Education Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ on April 11, 2021 presented the AICTE Lilavati Awards 2020 on women empowerment to the winners.
The objective of the award is to create awareness about issues like sanitation, hygiene, health, nutrition, literacy, employment, technology, credit, marketing, innovation, skill development, natural resources and rights among women.

- Digital Literacy’ sub theme: Bharatiya Vidyapeeth

- ‘Women’s Health’ sub them: WIT Women Health Coalition from Walchand Institute of Technology, Maharashtra
- ‘Legal Awareness’ sub theme: Radiant Seetha from Thiagarajar Polytechnic College
- ‘Self Defense’ sub theme: Paritrana from St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, Tamil Nadu
