The 10th India International Science Festival (IISF) inaugurated on 30th November at IIT Guwahati.
The festival is centered around the theme “Transforming India into an S&T-driven Global Manufacturing Hub”.
The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), with coordination by its National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (CSIR-NIIST), leads this year’s festival.
First launched in 2015, IISF is a unique platform for engaging society with science, offering activities for professionals and the general public alike.
This marks the first time the festival is hosted in northeast India.
The festival is supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology, along with partners like Vijnana Bharati, and various governmental and private institutions.
